Before you start
- Have your smartphone and the email address you use for your Ford or Lincoln account ready.
- Keep your vehicle nearby. You can scan the VIN barcode on the driver’s door jamb or enter the VIN manually.
- You may need to turn the vehicle on and approve a connection prompt on its SYNC touchscreen.

Add and connect your vehicle
In the app, tap the Garage button at the top left.

Scan the barcode on the driver’s door jamb or enter the VIN.
Make sure the vehicle is on, then tap Connect to Vehicle.
If a SYNC prompt appears on your vehicle’s touchscreen, tap “Allow” or “Yes” to approve the connection.

Preferred Dealer in the app
Choose Long-Lewis as your preferred service location
- Tap the Service tab at the bottom of the app.
- Scroll down to Preferred Dealer in the app.
- Search ZIP code 35661, then select Long-Lewis Ford Lincoln of the Shoals.
at the bottom of the app.You can change your preferred location later.

If available for your vehicle, test a remote feature such as lock or unlock in the app.
